RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF MARK JONES TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mark Jones be appointed to said board as the
City of Greeley Appointee representative, to replace Mike Savage, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mark Jones to said board, with a
term to expire January 12, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Mark Jones be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency Service
Authority Board, with a term to expire January 12, 2016.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of October, A.D., 2014.
