Grogan Mark II Consulting Engineers 7460 West 120th Avenue P. O. Box 444 Broomfield, Colorado 80020 Dear Mr. Grogan: It has come to the attention of this office that the recording section of the Clerk and Recorder's Office, Weld County, Colorado, will not accept certain materials for recording. The reasoning for this determination comes from methods now used for copying all records pre- sented. Due to this development five of the seven sheets submitted for the Turn- pike Construction gravel pit were not acceptable. Therefore, this office would request that you accept the returned check (enclosed) and resubmit a check for twenty dollars ($20.00) so this office can, upon receipt of said check, record the two sheets acceptable. The remaining five sheets will remain as a permanent part of the Planning Commission files. This office is apologetic for any inconvenience caused to your office and to Turnpike Construction. Anonymous complaints about dust from the Turn- pike site have also been received by this office. Mr. Fred Spallone of Turnpike Construction (Hwy. 287 and Midway Blvd. , Broomfield, Colo. 80020, 466-7311 ) was the applicant at the time Special Use Permit 249:74:12 was granted for the gravel extraction site. Spallone Turnpike Construction Hwy. 287 and Midway Blvd. Broomfield, Colorado 80020 Re: Special Use Permit #249 Dear Mr. Spallone: Per our earlier telephone conversation, the wax m_terial stockpiled on the banks of Boulder Creek within the area of your Special Use Permit is not suitable for rip-rap. Also, the wax material cannot be contrued as agricultural storage. Therefore, such storage is not a use permitted by right and should be removed. One condition of the Special Use Permit was construction of a four strand barb wire fence with in-between stays around the perimeter of the use area. Notify this office when such construction commenses. If con- struction of the fence does not start in the immediate future, the Planning staff must know the reasons for such delay. Sincerely, Anne Moore Zoning Inspector jsm Hello
