RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Judy Yamaguchi, Willis Kulp, Wayne Wagner
and Kenneth Humphrey be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that George Heath be appointed to said board, to
replace Thomas "Jerry" Kearney, and that Katherine Swafford be appointed to said board, to
replace Roy Wardell, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint George Heath and Katherine
Swafford to said board, and to reappoint Judy Yamaguchi, Willis Kulp, Wayne Wagner, and
Kenneth Humphrey to said board, all with terms to expire January 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that George Heath, Katherine Swafford, Judy Yamahuchi, Willis Kulp, Wayne
Wager, and Kenneth Humphrey be, and hereby are, appointed and reappointed to the Area
Agency on Aging Advisory Board, with terms to expire January 31, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of February, A.D., 2015.
