The signs will be in place from February 2, 2015-April 31, 2015. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) recommends posting the speed limit within 5 mph of the 85 percentile speed limit (Section 2B-13). Other factors such as road characteristics, roadside development, accident records, and shoulder conditions may be considered when establishing speed limits. WCR 42 & WCR 29 was under construction for a concrete box structure and a roadway realignment. The construction for the box structure had to be constructed while irrigation was not running. The roadway will not be able to re-pave until the end of April. This is leaving a segment of roadway unpaved between two paved sections. For public safety we would like to reduce the speed limit from 55 mph to 35 mph temporarily. /_ ' 9 _/ 2015-0204 Page- 1 -of 1 January 14,2015 C:\Users\ramartinez\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\BBCGBZMY\BOOO 011415 Temp SL.doc Hello
