IRRIGATION COMPANY December 28, 2015 Diana Aungst Weld County Planning and Building Department 1555 North 17th Avenue Greeley, Colorado 80631 RE: USR15-0056 Applicant: Lee Detterer c/o Scott McBride Rest Stop Storage Dear Ms. Aungst: The Whitney Irrigation Company Board of Directors has been contacted by the applicants in USR15-0056 and has reviewed their application and proposed crossings of the irrigation ditch . The Board is currently working with the applicants to clarify details and collect fees regarding the crossings. While reviewing the site plans, it was noted that Austrian pines spaced every 40' to 45' are proposed to be included as part of the landscape plan and would be located adjacent to the ditch . The Whitney Irrigation Company sees these trees as an impediment to our access to and maintenance of the ditch and would respectfully request these trees not be included as part of the landscape plan . The Company approves of the applicants plans with this one condition . Thank you for your time and consideration .
