RE: AUTHORIZATION OF FUND INCREASES FOR TWO GRANTS FOR THE EVANSTON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that an increase in funds
for two grants in the Evanston Community Development Project is
necessary, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Director of Planning,
Gary Fortner, that Evanston Project EV-6-D-NO8 # 7 be increased
from $7, 500 . 00 to $15,065. 00 and Project EV-6-DN08 #6 be increased
from $7, 500. 00 to $19, 259 . 00 , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it to be in
the best interest of Weld County to authorize said funding increases .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Evanston Project Grant
EV-6-DNO8#7 be increased from $7, 500. 00 to $15 ,065. 00 and Grant
EV-6-DNO#6 be increased from $7, 500 . 00 to $19 ,259. 00 contingent upon
the inability of the applicants to secure 504 loans from the Federal
Housing Administration in the amount of $5,000 . 00 . If the loans
are secured, the total grant amount will be decreased by that amount.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
March, A.D. , 1978 .
