RE: APPROVAL OF 15-DAY EXTENSION OF TIME FOR CONSTRUCTION IN
WATTENBERG AND EVANSTON.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, through the bidding process, Jim Christensen
Construction submitted the successful bid for construction of
Phase III in the Evanston Rehabilitation Program, and Garding
Construction Company submitted the successful bid for construc-
tion of Phase I in the Wattenberg Rehabilitation Program, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services of Weld County
has requested a 15-day extension of time for said contractors
performing the construction of homes in the Evanston and
Wattenberg Rehabilitation Programs, and
WHEREAS, the reasons for requesting said extension were
explained to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld
County to approve said 15-day extension of time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the 15-day extension
of time for the contractors performing the construction of homes
in Wattenberg and Evanston, be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
September, A.D. ,
