Dear Mr. Gathman,
I was present at the County Commissioners Meeting on Wednesday, October 14`h. I
witnessed an extraordinary event where the County Commissioners took their time to
listen to the concerned citizens of Carr and went in direct disagreement with you and the
planning board in denying this application. I feel you should have denied this application
to begin with because it was in violation of the Department of Health but now that the
Commissioners have denied it I feel it is appropriate to have the Sullivans remove these
tanks. If nothing else,they should be unburied and set back above the ground so they
cannot used for any other purpose. Whose responsibility is it, if it is not yours,to make
them comply with the Department of Health and the County Commissioners to remove
these tanks?
I would appreciate a response to this concern.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for upholding the following Weld County Regulations :
1. Water Control Commission 22.1 Scope and Purpose 2.A.
2. EPA Clean Water Act ( tributaries as water ways)
3. Weld County Section 23-2-220 Land Compatibility
4. Weld County Department of Health 12-6-140 A.9. Health , Safety, and Welfare Provision.
Milking and gardening are our way of life. It is how I sustain our children.Thank you for not only protecting our water,
environment, and livelihood but most importantly thank you for protecting the vision we have for our children and their
children. Carr is an amazing little community with a big heart .Thank you for taking the time to hear our voices and
heed our concerns. Daily each of you have an extraordinary task set before you and your choices have lasting and
immeasurable impacts.Thank you for sacrificing time from your families and commitments in order to serve Weld
County.
