RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BARRY SCHAEFER TO THE REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Barry Schaefer be appointed to said board as
the Fire Chief At-Large, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Barry Schaefer to said board, with a
term to expire December 31, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Barry Schaefer be, and hereby, is appointed to the Regional
Communications Advisory Board, with a term to expire December 31, 2017.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of July, A.D., 2015.
