I hereby certify that the one item identified herein was submitted to the Department of Planning Services
at or prior to the scheduled Planning Commissioners hearing.

To Who it may Concern:
It is my understanding that there will be a review on a second dwelling at 6499 weld county road 36, Platteville,
CO owned by Larry and Patty Nelson.
This second dwelling was being built without any notification to the county and NO zoning, planning and or
building permits were applied for at the beginning of this process.The county became aware of this building because of
my notification and only because I notified the county.
The reason it is of my concern, is because my 3 children will also be living at the residence if this building is
allowed to continue and I want this building to be safe for my children to reside there as well. With NO permits being
pulled and many violations they have had occur that was concerning to me. They are not the most honest of folks and i
know how my ex likes to build things so appreciate the great dedication by your county to make sure all proper things
are done to make a safe building. I appreciate you watching it as they have had many things they need to redo to make
it right; as I am sure many people do, but if you weren't watching it would have been done inappropriately and unsafe.
They have no concern in making sure this is done right and safe.
I wanted to point out that their story for what the purpose of this building is had changed many times. Also who
will live there also changed many times, at one point they stated it was for their grandson. As I look at the applications
and what they set forth to have for this building and what I am told are also different. I understand that you have rules
and regulations for a reason and it is to keep people safe.
From what I can see as far as regulations the septic system is not big enough for 6 people to reside there. It was
approved though by what they have told you as far as how many people will live there. It was approved for a 3 bedroom
home not 5 bedrooms which it will be which is almost double. Also the building I notice that was going to be a "tack
Room and storage " Is now bedrooms and storage. From what I know the upstairs will not be storage but yet another
bedroom which Steve will reside. The 2 rooms downstairs will be bedrooms for 2 boys and possibly a 3`d if Steve allows
him room. At this point and time Steve has custody of his children 50%of the time which means they are there a lot and
need to be accounted for in this living space and arrangement. In the application for site specific plan and use by special
review sent in on 11/21/2014 they state it will be occupied by ONE person. This is not the case. It will be occupied by 4
People and that is quite the difference.
I just want you to have all the facts since they can't seem to get their story straight and we can see from
everything they have done so far that it is not legit and they don't like letting you know all the TRUE facts. I wanted to
make sure my children will be safe and all the correct numbers were brought to your attention in order to make this
decision. The fact that they are not being up front in this project concerns me in what else they will try and hide. I have
been told also that they are not doing things the way they should and are being less than honest.This is not the first
time the Nelsons have done this either. They have a disregard for your system.
Please keep my children safe who will be living in a hay barn which could be a fire hazard and again thank you
for all your time and consideration in this process. Sorry I could not be there in person.
