In accordance with Section§ 20(I) of the Original Grant Agreement between the State of Colorado,
acting by and through the Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland security and Emergency
Management, and WELD COUNTY,the provisions of the Contract and any amendments thereto
affected by this Grant Change Letter are modified as follows:
1) Initial Term Contraction. The termination date specified in§5(A) of the Grant is decreased to
March 30,2015.
2) Effective Date. The effective date hereof is upon approval of the State Controller.
3) Additional Requirements. None

Commissioners, attached is a Form 1 change letter for the 2014 Emergency Management Grant.This letter changes the
date for the Grant cycle.There was an error on the original Grant contract indicating the grant would run through
September 2016.The corrected date is March 2015.All grant deliverables have been achieved and there is no change to
any funding. I would like to request this letter be added to the consent agenda for next week?
