of the agricultural industry and, at the same time, to protect the rights of the
private property owners to convert their agricultural lands to other appropriate
land uses. The County recognizes the importance of maintaining large
contiguous parcels of productive agricultural lands in nonurbanizing areas of
the County to support economies of scale required for large agricultural
operations.
