RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE
OF THE OLD NURSING HOME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colroado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an agreement between Weld County, Colorado (Seller)
and Barry E. Serlis (Purchaser) has been entered into concerning
the sale and purchase of the Old Nursing Home, and
WHEREAS, Barry E. Serlis has requested a 180-day extension
concerning the closing date, and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been prepared
and submitted to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, a copy of which is attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deems it advisable to approve said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the amendment to the
agreement between Weld County, Colorado and Barry E. Serlis
concerning the sale and purchase of the Old Nursing Home be,
and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
May, A.D. , 1979. COUNTY

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR
SALE AND PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE
THIS DOCUMENT is declared to be an amendment to an
agreement for sale and purchase of real estate, the original
agreement having been entered into on the 12th day of March,
1979 , between WELD COUNTY, a political subdivision of the
State of Colorado (Seller) and BARRY E. SERLIS, (Purchaser) ,
the parties hereto agree that said agreement for sale and
purchase of real estate should be amended as follows :
1 . It is agreed by and between the parties hereto
that the original contract dated March: 12 , 1979
called for a closing date of June 1, 1979 that
the parties to this amendment agree that said
closing date shall be extended until November 30,
1979 .
2. It is further agreed by and between the parties
hereto that the Purchaser shall pay to the Seller
interest at the rate of ten percent (10%) per
annum on the outstanding balance of Ninety
Thousand Dollars ($90 ,000.00) , said interest
to be calculated on a per diem basis, to be
paid in full to Weld County upon the date of
closing. Interest shall commence running on
June 1, 1979 .
3. The Purchasers further agree to maintain the
grounds around the structure and the outside of
the structure covered by the original contract
dated March 12 , 1979 , including weed abatement,
mowing the lawn, disposal of trash and litter
and watering of grass and shrubs.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto subscribed
their names on this the llthday of June, 1979 .
