Re: Concerning Allocation Letter#2 of Community Corrections Contract#68076
between the State of Colorado and Weld County
Enclosed is notification from the Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal
Justice (DCJ) reporting commitment of funds in the amount of$2,949,396.50 for the ongoing
delivery of community corrections services under the current Master Contract with the DCJ.
Payment is for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 2016.
Recommend acceptance of funds. Justice Services and Accounting has made the necessary
adjustments to its budget tracking and I have informed our community corrections vendor ICCS
of these additional funds and the best way to utilize. No further action is needed by the Board.

TO: Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
In accordance with Section 7.A of the Original Contract between the State of Colorado, Division
of Criminal Justice, Community Corrections, and Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County July 1, 2015 and ending on June 30, 2016, the undersigned commits the following funds
to the Grant:
1. Payment for the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, will be made as earned, in
whole or in part, from available State funds encumbered in an amount not to exceed
$2,949,396.50 to be allocated as follows :
$1,463,469.30 for Residential Diversion services for community corrections
offenders, payable at a daily community rate of$42.09 per
offender; and,
$46,214.82 for Residential Condition of Probation (IRT base beds) services for
community corrections offenders, payable at a daily community
corrections rate of$42.09 per offender; and,
$754,842.06 for Residential Transition services for community corrections
offenders, payable at a daily community corrections rate of$42.09
per offender; and,
$308,098.80 for Residential Parole services for community corrections
offenders, payable at a daily community corrections rate of$42.09
per offender; and,
$67,307.40 for Non-Residential Diversion services for offenders not to exceed
an average of$6.13 per day per offender; and,
$105,000.00 for Treatment Support and,
$95,064.25 for Facility Payments to be disbursed as outlined in Statewide
Facility Payments Policy for FY 16 and,
$109,399.87 for Community Corrections Board Administration by the
Contractor.

2. Financial obligations of the State of Colorado payable after the current fiscal year are
contingent upon funds for that purpose being appropriated, budgeted and otherwise
made available.
3. Funds allocated in this Allocation Letter are for services rendered during the current
contract period and cannot be used to pay for community corrections services provided
in prior or future fiscal years.
4. Any unexpended funds allocated or advanced to the Contractor by the Allocation Letter
shall be reverted to the State no later than August 31, 2016.
This Allocation Letter does not constitute an order for services under this Grant.
The effective date of hereof is upon approval of the State Controller or July 1, 2015, whichever
is later.
