Subject: Centennial Generator Change Order#2; Bid #B1400094
During the Centennial Generator installation, the electrical contractor ran into issues and corrected
them as they were discovered. This resulted in additional work for both the electrician and the general
contractor to meet the cutover window, thus generating a change order for the amount of$4,743. This
is the second change order request for this project. The first change order request was made on June 6,
2014. It was denied as a better cost effective solution was developed.
The work for Change Order 2 in the amount of$4,743.00 needed to be done to meet the time
limitations of installation on the weekend as to not disrupt the operation of the data center for the
County. Therefore, Buildings and Grounds is recommending approval of this change order.
