HOUSING AUTHORITY
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
APRIL 27, 2015
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing
Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting
in the Weld County Administration Building, Greeley, Colorado, April 27, 2015, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
la ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following
members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner Mike Freeman, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway
Commissioner Julie A. Cozad
Commissioner Steve Moreno
Also present:
County Attorney, Robert T. Frick
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tisa Juanicorena
Controller, Barbara Connolly
la MINUTES: Commissioner Conway moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board
meeting of March 23, 2015, as printed. Commissioner Moreno seconded the motion, and it carried
unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
e Tom Teixeira, Director of the Greeley-Weld County Housing Authority, was present.
Commissioner Conway stated he and Commissioner Moreno attended the Community Development
Block Grant hearing and participated in a discussion regarding the County receiving a lower percentage
amount of HUD funds. He informed Mr. Teixeira of a future work session to address these concerns as
related to the flood damaged properties in Weld County. Mr. Teixeira commented the issue may be
reflected in percentage of applications to FEMA funds being divided.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted
by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
