Subject: Request to remove proposed building and septic envelopes
PUD Change of Zone and PUD Final Plan for the Stark Farms residential development
Dear Douglas and Debra:
As addressed in previous correspondence, the Planning Director, Tom Parko has determined that the Department
of Planning Services and Building Inspection will not enforce the building envelopes for Stark Farms PUD at this
time while we are in the process of amending the Weld County Code to make the removal of building envelopes
an administrative process.
As Weld County does not have a current land use application in process, we are returning the two checks
associated with the application fee for the amendment to the current PUD Change of Zone and Final Plan for the
Stark Farms residential development.
At such time, date uncertain, that this Code change is effective, you or representatives to the HOA Board will be
requested to come into the planning office and speak with us about the County's new process for the removal of
building envelopes. In the interim, please notify the property owners within the Stark Farms PUD to submit their
building permits for their site specific accessory structures. As reference, each accessory structure may be
constructed up to four percent(4%) of the total area associated with each specific parcel and shall be sited to
meet all setbacks and offsets per the approved Final Plan, PF-1037.
If you need any further information, please feel free to contact me at the above address, telephone number or e-
mail address.
Sincerely,
Kim palie
