CREATIVE SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, Envision began fifty years of dedicated service in 1964 when it was ,
incorporated as the Weld County Community Center Foundation (WCCCF), which was
forged to deinstitutionalize persons with developmental disabilities and provide
j community based services, and ;
WHEREAS, Envision is the Community Centered Board (CCB) serving Weld County,
one of 20 such entities in the State of Colorado, and

3 WHEREAS, through several names changes throughout the years, and despite many
j challenges, Envision remains Weld County's cornerstone for people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities and delays, and
WHEREAS, through in-house programs and contracts with a network of provider
agencies, individual, professional community businesses and other services, Envision •
facilitates a comprehensive support program in a broad spectrum of settings, including a
24-hour on-site staff, scheduled support staff, host homes, and group homes, and
WHEREAS, Envision provides case management and a diverse set of person-centered
services which support more than 1,300 children and adults, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is proud of Envision's dedication to
j . r serving the people of Weld County and congratulates Envision on its 50th Anniversary w ,
Celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Envision, Creative Support for People with Developmental
_ Disabilities be, and hereby is, congratulated on its 50th Anniversary. N
