Bids were received and opened on February 4, 2015 for B1500025, Cisco UCS (IT project
number IT-261). Two (2) bids were received. The bids range from $445,934.74 to
$462,091.29. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Cisco UCS is a next generation architecture data center server platform composed of
computing hardware, virtualization support, switching fabric, and management software.
The Information Technology staff reviewed and compared all of the bids. GTRI out of
Denver, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of$445,934.74.
With the above information, I recommend the board award the B1500025, Cisco UCS to
GTRI for a one year total amount of$445,934.74.
