RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County,Colorado,and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee,and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Elise Kapitancek be appointed to said board,to
replace James Lopez as a low income representative,with a term to expire December 31,2017,
retroactively effective February 1,2015,and
WHEREAS,it has also been recommended that Elizabeth Barber,Jodi Hartmann,and Tom
Teixeira be reappointed to said board,with terms to expire December 31,2017 and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Elise Kapitancek and reappoint
Elizabeth Barber,Jodi Hartmann and Tom Teixeira to the Human Services Committee,all with terms
to expire December 31,2017.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Elise Kapitancek be,and hereby is appointed;and that Elizabeth Barber,
Jodi Hartmann, and Tom Teixeira be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Human Services
Committee,all with terms to expire December 31,2017.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 29th day of April,A.D.,2015,nunc pro tuns February 1,2015.
