RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF DONALD D. WARDEN AS THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners appointed Donald D. Warden on
January 9, 2014, as the Interim Director of Finance in addition to his position as Director of
Budget and Management Analysis, and
WHEREAS, the Board now desires to combine the positions of Interim Director of
Finance and Director of Budget and Management Analysis into the one position of Director of
Finance and Administration, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to appoint Donald D. Warden as Director of Finance and
Administration, effective January 5, 2015.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by Board of Weld County Commissioners that,
effective January 5, 2015, Donald D. Warden be, and hereby is, appointed the Director of
Finance and Administration.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of January, A.D., 2015.
