RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 822 7TH
STREET, GREELEY-WITWER, OLDENBURG, BARRY AND GROOM, LLP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 2015, the Board was presented with a Lease Agreement
for 822 7th Street, Greeley, Colorado, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Witwer, Oldenburg, Barry,
Groom, LLP, commencing on January 1, 2016, through and until December 31, 2020, with the
option to renew through December 31, 2025, and further terms and conditions being as stated in
said lease agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable to reconsider said lease
agreement on September 23, 2015, at which time the matter was continued to September 30,
2015, to allow Witwer, Oldenburg, Barry, Groom, LLP, adequate time to review amended
language for Section 3.3 as proposed by the County Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Lease Agreement for 822 7th Street, Greeley, Colorado, between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and Witwer, Oldenburg, Barry and Groom, LLP, and hereby is, continued to
September 30, 2015.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of September, A.D., 2015.
