We are, now desirous of building up the road on the South. side of Section Six in Township one range G7 and we find upon location of the corners of this section t3at your fence sets in a con- siderable distance in the road. This was also true of the, section just Crest of your Section and we have taken the matter up with the Kirby Brothers of Boulder, who have consented tc the' removal of their fence and irrigation ditches so that vie night build this Nast and .cest . road. This East and lest road, South of Section No. b is petitioned and granted oijened in 1890. surveying and accurate location of corners wore accomplished at that time which accounts for many fences being out of line. e hope that you will see fit to grant this request that we may be able to continue with this road eastward. It is cur desire to maize the roads better and safer and we feel confident tint you are in sympathy with this program. Wachob, 750 Equitable Building, was handed to me by Mr. Wachob for answer, the reason being -that- I am the -owner of the South z of Section 6 and I therefore presumed you would wish me as owner to give permission to move fences and widen road along the South z of Section 6. As I understand it , the County will move the fences and I will be placed at no expense for this work. If such is the case, I am entirely agreeable to giving you permission to move the fences and widen the road, as set forth in your letter. Our irrigation ditch was put inside the fence and the R. R Company put a flume under their track for our use . If the County will move our fence and put our irrigat— ion ditch not -,more than five feet inside the fence and protect our flume rights under the railroaj without cost to us, we will give the necessary strip of land to the County for highway purpms- es ,.
