My concern is the distance of the transmission line to my final phase at Aristocrat Ranchettes #3 . Tri-State shows in Figure B-5 of their submission that the proposed transmission line is running directly along the property line/ fence line along the east boundary of Aristocrat Ranchettes Filing #3. Figure C-2 shows two routes, and both will border the east side of Aristocrat Ranchettes #3 at Grant Street and Lamb Avenue. Under both scenarios , in my opinion , this transmission line is too close to the homeowners and future homeowners of Aristocrat Ranchettes #3. I think there is much more open space further east to accommodate this line and not have to hug the east fence line along Grant Street with a large 230 kv DC transmission line . If the prposed transmission line was already existing along Grant Street prior to the approval of the Aristocrat Ranchettes #3 plat, I doubt very much that the planning staff and County Commissioners would approve such a location for a subdivision . Therefore why would they support the transmission lines today, since the plat is already recorded . What is the ROW required in the County for a transmission line and the distance of a new subdivision from the ROW of a transmission line? I don't think the Staff or the County Commissioners would be serving the best interests of Aristocrat Ranchettes #3, by allowing a transmission line to abut the east boundary of the Aristocrat Ranchettes #3 . There is plenty of land east of Grant Street to locate the transmission line, and nobody would be affected from that area . I look forward to your comments.
