RE: AUTHORIZE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ACCEPT SURETY
BOND AND FURTHER AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY TREASURER
TO ISSUE A DUPLICATE TAX SALE CERTIFICATE.
WHEREAS, Weld County Treasurer, Frances M. Loustalet,
has requested authority to accept a surety bond indemnifying
him against loss by reason of so doing, and to issue a dupli-
cate tax sale certificate No. 368/1969 issued by the Weld County
Treasurer to Antonia Anderson in the amount of Thirty Dollars
and Fifty-seven Cents ($30. 57) , dated in 1969, and which cer-
tificate has been lost, misplaced, stolen or destroyed, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer has presented
such a Lost Instrument Bond for the Board' s approval and accep-
tance, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to authorize the County Treasurer
to issue a new certificate under proper circumstances of
indemnification of both the Weld County Treasurer and Weld
County, Colorado, and as contained in the aforementioned bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treas-
urer, Frances M. Loustalet, be and he hereby is authorized to
issue a duplicate tax sale certificate No. 368/1969 to Antonia
Anderson in the amount of Thirty Dollars and Fifty-seven Cents
($30. 57) , subject to receiving a penal bond in the sum of
Ninety-four Dollars and Eighty-six Cents ($94. 86) hereinabove
referred to, being a proper bond and in the proper amount as
complete indemnification of the Weld County Treasurer and Weld
County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th
day of April, A. D. , 1976.

oath, depose and say: that I, Wl6, are the identical persons) to whom was issued (as-
signed) Tax Certificate Numbered 368 of the 1969 Weld County Tax Sale, cover-
ing the 1968 8 taxes on
Lot 15 Block 10 B & W Raymer
Lot 12 Block 8 Peckhams Raymer
Assignment being made by Weld County
That said (assigned) Certificate has been misplaced, lost or destroyed and
after the most careful and diligent search, I, 1e, cannot find the same nor can per, produce the same for presentation for a Treasurer's or Tax Deed for the property
covered by this Certificate. That I, W , have not assigned or disposed of this Cer-
tificate to any other person or persons, and that I, We, are still the legal owner of
said Certificate. That I, We, make this affidavit for the purpose of inducing the
county commissioners of said Weld County to authorize issuance by the county treasurer
of said Weld County of a new certificate, upon the condition that I, We, indemnify
said County for and on account of said lost tax sale certificate.

and Elmer G Eichstedt , of the County of Jefferson and State of
_CO lorado , as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, in the sum of $ 444 _2A , lawful money of the United States
of America, for the payment of which well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves,ea'h
of us, and our heirs, executors, administrators, jointly and severally by these pre-
ents firmly.

The condition of this obligation is such that: WHEREAS, a certain Tax Sale Cer-
tificate No. 368 of the 1969 Tax Sale of Weld County, Colorado, _ issued ar
signed by the then Treasurer of Weld County, State of Colorado, and assigned to
Weld County and Weld County assigned to
Antonia Anderson , for the sum of $ 30. 57 the same having beer
lost, and having established by proof of said loss to the satisfaction of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, they have by proper order entered a
record authorizing the issuance of a duplicate Tax Sale Certificate by the County
Treasurer Numbered 388 of the 1969 Tax Sale with all subsequent endorsements
thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, If the said Obligors shall save the County of Weld .and keep
harmless the County and all of its officials from all damages, suits and claims" of
whatever nature, occasioned by the issuance of said duplicate Tax Sale Oertificatc
without the surrender of the original, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to
