Bids were received and opened on January 6, 2015 for B1500023, Cisco Switch
Equipment (IT project number IT-240 Cisco Switch Equipment). Three (3) bids were
received. The bids meeting the specifications range from $238,055.00 to $299,351.63.
Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Cisco Switch Equipment project is an annual request that allows the Information
Technology department to update and replace out dated networking equipment.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all of the bids and Global Technology
Resources, Inc. out of Denver, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of$238,055.00.
With the above information, I recommend the board award B1500023, Cisco Switch
Equipment to Global Technology Resources, Inc. for a one year total amount of
$238,055.00.
