The request required the following: • Provide per unit pricing, using the Pricing Schedule on uniform and equipment provided in the proposa I. • Deliver orders in the prescribed time line of the Request for Proposal. Orders are to be shipped to the care of the Sheriff's Office, individually packaged, and labeled with the empioyee's name. • Provide online ordering capability for on-going replacement of uniforms,to include an accounting mechanism for individual deputies to order uniforms. • Ensure all invoices are sent to the Sheriff's Office and not to the individual deputy. Three vendors, KINSCO, LLC, Neve's Uniforms & Equipment, and Galls, LLC, responded to the RFP by submitting bids. Galls' response was reviewed but not rated as their response did not meet the minimum specifications outlined in the RFP. KINSCO, LLC and Neve's Uniforms & Equipment bid responses were evaluated by the Sheriff's Office. A panel comprised of Lt. Cindy Villegas, Dir. Charles Eggers, Deputy Fred Walker and Office Technician Heather Daniel evaluated the two proposals using the prescribed criteria outlined in the proposal. Below are the results of the reviews and assessments. KINSCO stated, "YES" to same pricing for two (2) additional years of bid extension; however, Neve's stated, "No"to same pricing for a bid extension. KINSCO met all the requirements and presented the low bid for the requested goods and services. KINSCO also indicated they would agree to keep the same pricing if the contract was extended 2 years. KINSCO is also offering an additional service as part of their bid that allows employees to access their account at the KINSCO store to purchase products while shopping.
