RE: GRANTING APPROVAL TO THE TOWN OF KERSEY, COLORADO FOR
A FIRE WORKS DISPLAY ON JULY 10, 1977 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Section 12-28-103, CRS 1973, as amended, permits
Weld County to grant permits for public displays of fire works
by municipalities, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Kersey, Colorado has applied for a
fire works display permit for July 10 , 1977 , which display
shall take place on the football field of Platte Valley High
School, east of Kersey, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desire to grant said application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Town of Kersey,
be and hereby is , granted a fire works display permit for July 10 ,
1977 , which display shall be held at the football field of Platte
Valley High School, located east of Kersey, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
April A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
on the 27th day of April , A.D. , 1977.
