On April 9,2014 the other house(1240 Aspen Court Eaton, CO) sold for$224,000. The other house is bedroom 4 baths,our house is a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. The lot size of the other house is 10454 square feet compared to 8980 square feet for our house. Therefore, since the other house was sold a month and a half before your valuation date, there is no way the value of our house can be $232,880. I estimate the value of our house, based on a square foot proration, to be $182,891 ($224,000/2888*2358). The Appeal process can take several weeks for us to complete. You will receive a decision on your appeal by June 30th for real property and by July 10th for business personal property and/or oil and gas. We thank you for your submittal.
