RE : APPROVAL OF CONSERVATION TRUST EXPENDITURES TO THE TOWN
OF MILLIKEN, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld
County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and,
WHEREAS , following the submission of an application by
the Town of Milliken for assistance in the project known as
park improvements in the Town of Milliken, Weld County has
extended to the Town of Milliken, a grant from Conservation
Trust Funds in the amount of $3 , 183 . 00 , and
WHEREAS, after receiving all bids , the Town of Milliken
has informed the Board of County Commissioners that the low
bid will be under the allocated amount , and
WHEREAS, the terms agreed upon are as follows :
A. Following completion of the project , the Town of
Milliken must report to Weld County it ' s acceptance of the
materials and project .
B. Such report shall include an accounting of actual
expenses for the project and request for reimbursement of a
specific dollar amount.
C. Upon receipt of this report and request for reim-
bursement, the County shall determine the amount of reimburse-
ment and will make a single payment to the Town of Milliken.
WHEREAS, it has been further agreed that Weld County
shall reimburse the Town of Milliken during the calendar
year 1979 . It is therefore understood and agreed that the
project should be completed and the request for reimbursement
forwarded no later than December 1 , 1979 , and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the aforementioned request
from the Town of Milliken, the Board of County Commissioners
deem it advisable and in the best interest of Weld County to

approve the same in an amount not to exceed $3 , 183. 00 to
Milliken through said Conservation Trust .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that said Board does hereby approve the Con-
servation Trust Fund expenditures to the Town of Milliken,
Weld County, Colorado, as more fully set forth above .
The above and foregoing resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, approved by the following vote on the
30th day of May, A.D. , 1979 .

Enclosed are the two bids Leroy Martinez obtained for the pipe for
the culvert through our park.
Please let us know as soon as possible if this meets with your
approval. Leroy is anxious to get this work done before the water
starts flowing through.
