RE: APPROVAL TO PURCHASE USED BOMAG MODEL 220 ROLLER FOR WELD
COUNTY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desires to purchase a used Bomag Model 220 Roller from
Moore Equipment Company. Said piece of equipment is to be used
for the Weld County Engineering Department, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
that due to the fact that said piece of equipment is a piece of
used equipment, it is not necessary to go out for bids or quotes,
and
WHEREAS, Moore Equipment Company has agreed to take two
trade-ins, a Roller Ferguson SN 8-12121 ($1, 225 . 00 trade-in price)
and a Galion SN G38248 ($875. 00 trade-in price) , which would bring
the total sales price of the Bomag Model 220 Roller to $48, 617. 00,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interests of Weld County to purchase said piece of
used equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the purchase of a used Bomag
Model 220 Roller from Moore Equipment Company for use by the Weld
County Engineering Department at a total purchase price of
$48 , 617 . 00 be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of
March, A.D. , 1979.

Dear Mr. Smith :
As per our agreement on this day, we will honor the total
sales price of $48 ,617 .00 on the Bomag Model 220 Roller.
We also agree to a warranty of 90 days or 518 hours which ever
occurs first. Warranty to commence when the units start
working April 1 , 1979. Warranty to cover Major Drive Train
components only.
