Home My WebLink About20154105.tiff This meeting is recorded for accuracy Minutes WELD COUNTY COUNCIL December 14, 2015 • The Weld County Council met in full conformity with the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Weld County Administration Building, Greeley, CO. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by Councilman Abernathy and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of members thereof: Councilwoman Marge Klein Councilman Brett Abernathy Councilman Don Mueller Councilman Jordan Jemiola Councilman Charles Tucker Also present: Commissioner Kirkmeyer, Commissioner Conway and Sarah Mundt, Council Secretary. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Councilman Jemiola made a motion to approve the December 14, 2015 agenda. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Klein and the motion carried. • APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 16, 2015 Minutes. The motion was made to approve the minutes by Councilman Jemiola and the motion was seconded by Councilman Mueller and the motion carried. REVIEW PROGRAM: Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer- Chair of the Board of County Commissioner Commissioner Kirkmeyer updated the Council on the changes in Commissioner Coordinators and Board Chair and Pro Tem, along with some changes in the County Organization for 2016. She also handed out a copy of the Weld County Commissioners 2015 Summary. She highlighted the 2015 Transportation Summit, WCR 49 Parkway, Bright Futures legislation (which only added one county staff member to manage the administration of the program), the lowering of the Mill Levy, a new look for the Property Portal and the 40th Anniversary of the Weld County Charter. PUBLIC COMMENT: None at this time. OLD BUSINESS: None at this time.
