RE: INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY
ROAD NO. 100 AND COUNTY ROAD NO. 29 , MAKING COUNTY ROAD
NO. 100 A THROUGH ROAD.
WHEREAS , the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has conducted a traffic count survey on County Roads No. 100
and No. 29 , and has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs need to
be installed on County Road No. 29 so as to stop all traffic
entering County Road No. 100 from County Road No. 29 , and there-
fore, making County Road No. 100 a through road, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services, and
has determined that said signs are necessary for the protection
of the public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "Stop" and "Stop Ahead"
signs on County Road No. 29 at its intersection with County Road
No. 100 in order to make County Road No. 100 a through road.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th
day of December, A.D. , 1976.

Subject: Stop Sign Installation on Or Before
Because of hazardous traffic conditions it will be
necessary to place a stop sign as indicated on the
attached sketch making County Road 100 a thru road
at County Road 29 .
I would recommend that the necessary resolution be
adopted.
