May I extend to you and the other commissioners present during my
hearing for a Special Use Permit my thanks for your courtesy and
understanding.
As I indicated to you last Thursday was "D" day in so far as I was
concerned. After Five months of pursuit of this permit I felt there
had to be a go or no go- decision time and the 20th of April was it.
When the Vantage Home objection was brought to my attention I felt
that we had lha.' it The affirmative vote by you and the other
lelbors supporting y application was good to hear, certainly
refreshing and emphatically supporting the Weld County Master Plan
of maintaining Weld 'County an agricultural community as far as
possible.
The overall plan for our dairy operation is to provide an eon-going"
business for our son and his family. Concurrent with this of course
is the providing of a "Next Generation" farming family in Weld
County. In order for this to become a reality there must be sufficient
income for them to 'enjoy thefruits of their labor. Should your'
vote have been negative there is little doubt our farming enterprise
would have been of short duration. •
My family joins with me in expressing our thanks and we will keep
you apprised of thedevelopment of the Dairy Enterprise.
