RE: INCREASE OF CHANGE FUNDS FOR CLERK AND RECORDER'S OFFICE IN
GREELEY MOTOR VEHICLE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board that the Change Fund in the Greeley
Motor Vehicle Department be increased by $500.00, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to increase said Change Fund in
the Greeley Motor Vehicle Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Controller be, and hereby is, authorized to increase said Change Fund
in the Greeley Motor Vehicle Department by $500.00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of February, A.D., 2015.

SUBJECT: Change Fund Clerk and Recorder
Clerk and Recorders office, Motor Vehicle Division, has cash drawers for staff that work the
front counters along with a "bank"that is used to make change. With the approved addition of 5
employees they need to add cash drawers of$100 each for these employees.
This will bring the total for cash drawers and the "bank" in Greeley to $5,500. Ft. Lupton and
Del Camino will remain the same at$2,100 and $2,200 respectively.
As part of the audit each year it is confirmed that each location does have the appropriated
funds on hand so this is tracked in the accounting system.
I agree with the increase and would recommend approval.
