IV. ADDITIONAL
•
A. Jere' Hamilton commented that some phases of the work in Phase II have been
progressing without shop drawing approval. Particularly the sprinkler system
and sheet metal work. Jim Albertson stated that he has spoken to the sprinkler
and sheet metal foreman about this and the respnsibility that they assume in
continuing with this practice.
B. Jere' Hamilton also stated that he has rejected the use of threaded Weld-o-lets
on the sprinkler system for 2" pipe and smaller. Jim Albertson checked this
and no instances of this condition were found to exist in the sprinkler system.
C. Jere' Hamilton also stated that there were areas in the basement wfere the
pans are required to be insulated. They have not been and the tinner has
run 5'-0 wide duct in those areas precluding the possibility of being able
to insulate the pans. Jim Albertson investigated this and found only 1 pan
which will be difficult to insulate because of this. HPCC will use spray
on foam insulation fro this 1 pan.
D. The addition of extra light switches in the planning office was discussed.
Loren Bley is to have a recommendation by March 25 for HPCC to price up
by next meeting.
E. Jere' Hamilton also stated that there seemsto be a lack of coordination
of different crafts working in the same areas. HPCC is to take care of
this.
