RE: RECOGNITION OF JEANNINE TRUSWELL, UNITED WAY OF WELD COUNTY
PRESIDENT AND CEO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners recognizes Jeannine Truswell, United
Way of Weld County President and CEO, as a valuable contributor to Weld County, and
WHEREAS, Jeannine Truswell is the recipient of the prestigious Colorado Nonprofit
Association Steve Graham Award, which recognizes and honors individuals for building
nonprofit capacity by creating and initiating activities that improve and enhance a nonprofit
organization's ability to achieve its mission and sustain itself over time, and
WHEREAS, Jeannine Truswell is the first United Way employee from all the United
Ways in Colorado to receive the award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Board is proud of the accomplishments of Jeannine Truswell
regarding her work for the United Way of Weld County and wishes to congratulate her on her
recent award from the Colorado Nonprofit Association for Building Nonprofit Capacity.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the
following vote on the 25th day of February, A.D., 2015.
