RE: ACCEPT REQUEST OF COUNTRY MEADOW ESTATES, LLC. TO WITHDRAW
APPLICATION FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE PERMIT, PZ-1153, FOR A PUD (PLANNED
UNIT DEVELOPMENT) ZONE DISTRICT FOR NINE (9) RESIDENTIAL LOTS WITH
E (ESTATE) ZONE USES ALONG WITH .78 ACRE OF OPEN SPACE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on September 29, 2010, the Board approved the application of James Trott,
Sr., 3654 East 151st Avenue, for a Change of Zone, PZ#1153, from the A (Agricultural) Zone
District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone District for nine (9) residential lots with
E (Estate) Zone uses along with .78 acre of open space, for a parcel of land located on the
following described real estate, to wit:
Lot B of Amended Recorded Exemption #4571;
being part of the N1/2SE1/4 of Section 7. Township
4 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, on September 9, 2015, the Board was presented with a letter, dated
August 19, 2015, from the applicant requesting the withdrawal of the application, stating the
property is vacant and the project has been abandoned, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and all of the exhibits and
evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to grant the
applicant's request and thereby accept the withdrawal of the application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request of James Trott, Sr. to withdraw the application for a request
for Country Meadow Estates, LLC. Permit #PZ-1153 for a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural)
to Planned Unit Development (PUD) for nine (9) residential lots with .78 Acre of Open Space on
the parcel of land described above be, and hereby is, accepted.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted

REQUEST: Applicants are requesting to vacate the change of zone approval for Country
Meadow Estates LLC (PZ-1153) for a change of zone from A (Agricultural) to Planned Unit
Development (PUD) for Nine (9) residential lots with .78 Acre of Open Space.
Background: PZ-1153 was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on September 29,
2015. The plat has not been recorded.
