Dear Franchise Authority,
As you are aware,TDS acquired Baja Broadband in August of 2013. Since then, we have continued to do
business in your area as Baja Broadband. We are excited to now begin the process of incorporating the
Baja organization into our flagship TDS brand. As the 7th largest telecommunications company in the
country,TDS is backed by 46 years of experience delivering reliable, affordable communications
technology to homes and businesses across the U.S.
We have been working behind the scenes for several months to ensure a smooth transition for our
customers. Our services, pricing, payment systems and customer service contact information will
remain the same.
During the past 19 months,TDS has invested nearly$11 million in network infrastructure to ensure a
better online experience to our customers. In addition, we have made a significant investment in
program content to provide our cable customers with more channels, including more High Definition
content.
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the letter that will be sent to each of our customers. This letter
includes more details about the transition process and assures customers that their current services and
pricing will remain the same.
