RE: APPROVE SIGNATORY AUTHORITY AND DELEGATION OF SIGNATORY
AUTHORITY FOR CDBG #15-504
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the County has recently been granted a Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) for the Wattenberg Water System Project, and
WHEREAS, the CDBG agreement calls for a resolution regarding the signatory authority
and delegation of signatory authority to file grant reports and payment requests, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration is recommending that the
Controller, Barbara Connolly, be granted the signatory authority and delegation of signatory
authority to file grant reports and payment requests for CDBG #15-504 on behalf of Weld
County, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Weld County Commissioners
that the Controller, Barbara Connolly, be granted the signatory authority and delegation of
signatory authority to file grant reports and payment requests for CDBG #15-504.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the
following vote on the 10th day of June, A.D., 2015.
