RE: ACCEPT DONATION OF $7,000.00 AND TELEVISION FROM THE JOHNSTOWN
VFW (JM LADIES AUXILLARY) FOR WELD COUNTY VETERAN SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Johnstown VFW (JM Ladies Auxiliary) wishes to donate $7,000.00 and
a television for the benefit of Weld County Veterans Services, and
WHEREAS, the donation by the Johnstown VFW (JM Ladies Auxiliary) will benefit
veterans throughout Weld County and enhance the services available to them through the Weld
County Veterans Services Office, and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept all donations via
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of $7,000.00 and a television from the Johnstown
VFW (JM Ladies Auxiliary), for the benefit of Weld County Veterans Services, be, and hereby is,
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this Resolution is forwarded
to the Johnstown VFW (JM Ladies Auxiliary) expressing the Board's appreciation for their
generous donation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of February, A.D., 2015.
