Bids were received and opened on January 28, 2015 for B1500024, EMC Storage (IT
project number IT-262). Two (2) bids were received. The bids range from
$1,147,462.42 to $2,255,756.46. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The EMC Storage will provide increased and enhanced storage capacity, data resiliency,
augmented backup storage and redundant file storage. The bids include five years of
maintenance for all hardware, software and licenses.
The Information Technology staff reviewed and compared all the bids. GTRI out of
Denver, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of $1,147,462.42.
With the above information, I recommend the board award the B1500024, EMC Storage to
GTRI for a one year total amount of$1,147,462.42.
