RE: CORRECT RESOLUTION DATED MARCH 14 , 1979 CONCERNING USE OF THE
4-H BUILDING BY THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 14, 1979, the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado adopted a Resolution granting permission
for the Boy Scouts of America to use the 4-H Building at Island
Grove Park for their Scout Show, and
WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America wish to use the Exhibition
Building rather than the 4-H Building on March 31, 1979 from 8 : 00 a.m.
to approximately 7 : 00 p.m. , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to correct
the Resolution of March 14, 1979 as hereinabove stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Resolution of March 14,
1979 is hereby corrected by granting permission for the Boy Scouts
of America to use the Exhibition Building at Island Grove Park
on March 31, 1979 and further that the rental fee for the same is
hereby waived.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
March, A.D. , 1979.
