RE: AUTHORIZATION OF SIGNATURE ON LEASE OF SITE FOR WAREHOUSE
AND STORAGE OF ROAD MACHINERY AT FREDERICK, COLORADO FROM
THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY TO WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County- Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company has submitted
an extension rider to an existing lease which covers a site for
a warehouse and storage of road machinery located at Frederick,
Colorado in Weld County, which extension rider is effective
September 1, 1977, and calls for Weld County as lessee to pay
to the Union Pacific Railroad Company, as lessor, the sum of
ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE DOLLARS ($171. 00) per annum, payable in
advance, the term of said lease to commence September 1, 1977
and to expire on August 31, 1982 , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, deems it advisable to authorize the Chairman of the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado to execute
said extension rider, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference at this point.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, be and
hereby is authorized to execute the extension rider to the lease
between the Union Pacific Railroad Company and the County of
Weld, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference at this point.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote onthe 1st day of
June, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the/ 15thday of June, A.D. , 1977.

IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED by and between the present parties to the above-named agreement

Gentlemen:
This refers to lease L.D. No. M-44914, Audit No .
A-68704, Divn. No. 9645 in favor of the County of Weld,
covering lease of site for warehouse and storage of road
machinery at Frederick, Colorado which expires by its own
terms August 31, 1977.
Attached herewith is rider designed to extend this
lease for a further term of five years. This rider also
provides for a rental increase to be in line with present
day land values and other leases presently in effect in this
area.
Please execute all documents in the space provided
and return both copies to me for similar action on behalf of
the Railroad Company.

to the COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF COLORADO, an agreement
extending to and including August 31, 1982, the term of lease
dated November 13, 1950, as extended, covering a portion
of the right of way of the Railroad Company to be used,,for
warehouse and storage of road machinery at Frederick,
Colorado, said lease being identified as L.D. No. M-44914,
V Audit No. A-68704, Divn. No. 9645; and
