Even though the value "after review" reduced our property to $568, 505 we feel this is still too high in regards to the other homes in the area. I have enclosed for your review homes that have sold prior to June 30, 2014. As you will notice these homes are significantly higher in square footage and most all of them have walk out basements, let it be noted that we do not have a basement in our home we have a crawl space. What really stands out is that the homes that have sold are basically taxed at the same rate or less than ours, not a true comparison. Belmont Farms is a unique sub-division with homes being sold in a wide range of prices; we just don't want to be compared to the higher priced homes with more square footage, basements, more bedrooms, more baths, and additional outbuildings and in some cases more acreage. We feel an appropriate valuation of our home is $510,000. Once again, thank you for your review and I look forward to a hearing to speak in further detail about the uniqueness of Belmont Farms and the appropriate valuation of our home.
