RE: APPROVE CORRECTION TO SIX (6) OIL AND GAS LEASE TERMS AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - GRIZZLY PETROLEUM COMPANY, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on June 10, 2015, the Board approved six (6) Leases with Grizzly Petroleum
Company, LLC, 1801 Broadway, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80202, recorded on June 12, 2015, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Correction to said six (6) Oil and Gas
Lease term date between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, and Grizzly Petroleum Company, LLC, with terms and
conditions being as stated in said correction, on all six leases, all being in the following described
mineral acres:
Section 11, Township 4 North, Range 67
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado, as further described in attached
document.
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said correction of lease
term date, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Correction to said Oil and Gas Lease term date between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
and Grizzly Petroleum Company, LLC, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said correction.

RE:Correction of Oil&Gas Leases
Dear Ms. Ford:
Per our email correspondence dated July 2, 2015, enclosed, in duplicate, please find a
Correction of Oil and Gas Lease Term document. Said document references those certain Oil &
Gas Leases dated May 22, 2015 by and between the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Weld, as lessee, and Grizzly Petroleum Company, LLC, as lessor. As agreed upon, the
Correction is intended to correct the primary term of the noted leases to end on May 22, 2018.
Please have the Correction executed on behalf of the Weld County Board of Commissioners;
and return one (1) copy of same to our office in the enclosed, self-addressed, stamped
envelope. When available, a copy of the recorded document will be provided to you.

Correction of Oil and Gas Lease Term
WHEREAS, the undersigned, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, a political subdivision of the
STATE OF COLORADO, acting by and through the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE
COUNTY OF WELD, as lessor, did under date of May 22, 2015, execute unto Grizzly Petroleum
Company, LLC, a Colorado Limited Liability Company certain Weld County Small-Tract Oil and Gas
Leases ("Leases") as referenced herein on the attached Exhibit"A".
AND WHEREAS, the lease term in the Leases referenced in the attached Exhibit"A" is incorrectly
stated and is inaccurate, it is the intent of the undersigned to correct the language in the referenced
Leases to read as follows:
"TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said land, and all the right and privileges granted hereunder to Lessee
until the hour of twelve o'clock noon on the 22nd day of May, 2018, as primary term, and so long thereafter
as oil and gas, or either of them is produced in paying quantities from said land or Lessee is diligently
engaged in bona fide drilling or reworking operations on said land, subject to the terms and conditions
therein."
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and for the purpose of making said
Leases more definite and certain in respect to the length of the primary term intended to be covered
thereby, the undersigned does hereby declare that it was and is the intention of the undersigned to
amend said Leases referenced in the attached Exhibit "A" in respect to the length of the primary term, as
aforesaid, and ratify and adopt the same as so amended.
