The Assessor's determination of value after review is based on the following: AL01 - Your property has been uniformly valued following Colorado law. Your protest of value has been denied due to comparison of other similar properties which sold during the 2013/2014 time period. The foundation has been stabilized but final repairs to the foundation walls and basement floor have not been made. Attempts to get written estimates for repairs have been difficult. Contractors will not provide a written estimate they will stand behind. Only verbal estimates have been given, and no guarantee that the price would not go higher. Verbal estimates range from $50,000 to $90,000, but no contractor wanted to do the work. The house is not sellable in its current condition. Please consider this situation as part of the property tax valuation. See attached photos of damage.
