RE: APPROVE 2016 AMOUNT TO BE PAID FOR ROTARY'S POUDRE LEARNING
CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT AS MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE NOBLE/CDPHE
GRANT AWARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, various Rotary Clubs of Weld County are doing a Poudre Learning Center
Expansion Project as a community project, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners approved contributing $15,000.00
towards the matching funds for the Noble/CDPHE SEP grant award of $500,000.00 in the 2016
Budget to be paid from General Fund for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the amount of$15,000.00 be and is hereby authorized to be paid by
Weld County from the General Fund in 2016 towards the matching funds for the Noble/CDPHE
SEP grant award of$500,000.00 for the Poudre Learning Center Expansion Project.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of December, A.D., 2015.
