RE: ACCEPT REQUEST OF VICKI LAKE TO WITHDRAW APPLICATION FOR CHANGE
OF ZONE, COZ14-0006, FROM THE R-2 (DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL) ZONE DISTRICT
TO THE R-3 (MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL) ZONE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 14th day
of January, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the
application of Vicki Lake, 16705 Rist Canyon Road, Bellvue, CO 80512, for a Change of Zone,
COZ14-0006, from the R-2 (Duplex Residential) Zone District to the R-3 (Medium Residential)
Zone District on the following described real estate:
Lot 14, Northwest, Estates 1st Filing; being part of
Section 29, Township 7 North, Range 67 West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter
March 4, 2015, to allow Planning Services adequate time to work with Vicki Lake to resolve a
zoning error that took place in 1981, and
WHEREAS, on March 4, 2015, the Board was presented with a letter, dated
February 4, 2015, from the applicant requesting the withdrawal of the application and a refund
of her application fee, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and all of the exhibits and
evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, accepts said request for
withdrawal and refund, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Vicki Lake to withdraw the application for a Change
of Zone, COZ14-0006, from the R-2 (Duplex Residential) Zone District to the R-3 (Medium
Residential) Zone District on the parcel of land described above be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the application fee be refunded to Ms. Lake.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of March, A.D., 2015.
