RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR VACATION OF A PORTION OF
COUNTY ROAD 61 - ROBERT AND RODNEY WILSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Petition for the Vacation of a Portion of
County Road 61 from Robert and Rodney Wilson, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 21st day of September, 2015, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter November 23, 2015, to allow
the neighbors adequate time to decide if they want to deed the 60-foot right-of-way to the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to November 23,
2015, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 21st day of September, A.D., 2015.

Right of Way Vacation ,
A portion of a Weld County Road Right of Way being vacated, situate in the East Half(EI/2)of
Section Twenty-five(25),Township Seven North(T.7N.),Range Sixty-four West(R.64W.)and in
the West Half(W1/2)of Section Thirty(30),Township Seven North(T.7N.),Range Sixty-three
West(R.63W.),both of the Sixth Principal Meridian(6th P.M.),County of Weld,State of Colorado,
and more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southeast corner of said Section 25,as momunented by a No.6 rebar with
a 3-1/4"Aluminum Cap stamped LS22098,and assuming the East line of the Southeast Quarter of
said Section 25 as bearing North 01°32'55"East a distance of 2649.39 feet,the East Quarter corner
of said Section 25 being monumented by a No.6 rebar with a 3-1/4"Aluminum Cap stamped
LS22098;
THENCE North 87°04'14"East along the South line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 30 a
distance of 30.41 feet to a line parallel with and 30.00 feet Easterly of,as measured at a right angle
to the center line of an existing county maintained roadway;
THENCE North 01°50'18"West along said parallel line a distance of 30.01 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING:
THENCE North 01°50'18"West along a line parallel with and 30.00 feet Easterly of,as measured
at a right angle to the center line of an existing county maintained roadway a distance of 990.99
feet to a line parallel with and 30.00 feet Westerly of,as measured at a right angle to the East line
of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 25;
THENCE North 01°32'55"East along said parallel line a distance of 4245.56 feet to a line parallel
with and 30.00 feet Southerly of,as measured at a right angle to the North line of the Northeast
